I’m training to run my first half marathon this fall! I’ll be racing the Navy Air Force Half Marathon in September and recapping my training every Tuesday leading up to race day.
Okay, okay — three rest days do not look good! But it was just one of those weeks. I feel like I should do a happy dance simply because I logged all my runs one way or another. Friday’s run? 10pm at night. Womp, womp. But you know what made it all worth it? Sunday’s long run.
This week’s priorities? Strength! Foam rolling. Core. Can’t let the other things slide…Last week’s long run showed me that my hard is paying off, and I don’t want to lose momentum on that progress.
